This Week’s Comedians
“Nobody delivers a line like @scottythecomic…stance, timing, material. His life and stand up experience shows” - Glen Sumi, Now Magazine
“Great timing, a quick wit and superb story telling make him one of Canada’s finest” - John Moore, CJAD Entertainment Editor
Scott Faulconbridge was nominated for a 2009 Canadian Comedy Award as Best Male Stand-Up. Hilarious story telling about his family life mishaps and a quick improvisational wit have led critics to claim that he is “among the best stand-up comedians on the continent”. It has also earned him regular appearances on CBC radio’s wildly popular The Debater’s where he goes head to head with the best comedy minds in Canada. Scott has also appeared in the premiere season of CBC TV’s The Debater’s which debuted this past summer.
He began his career as a member of one of Canada’s most popular and acclaimed improv troupes, On the Spot, a two-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee for Best Improv Troupe. Scott then honed his unique improvisational stage presence with a quirky observational style in an act that has headlined in Las Vegas and toured all over the UK where the BBC’s Thomas Paine called him “a great international act”.
Scott has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, CTV’s Comedy Now! and CBC’s Comics. He has also performed at the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs Festival over a dozen times as both a stand up and an improviser and has made recent appearances at both the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and the Halifax Comedy Festival. His last festival appearance at Just For Laughs was 2012.
Scott has toured Canada several times, most notably as a part of the Lipton Just For Laughs Comedy Tour in 2004, as well as the Investors Group Comedy Tour in 2006 and recently was the opening act for Howie Mandel at the National Arts Centre in our nation’s capital.
Scott’s first self produced DVD entitled Nice Shoes which was released in March of 2011. This was followed by the release of his CD Scottland in 2014 and also a short CD musical release of two valentine’s day songs called ‘Love Scott’ in February of this year. He has also appeared in numerous films and television shows, most notably Disney’s The Greatest Game Ever Played starring Shia Laboeuf and directed by Bill Paxton.
“Among the best comedians on the continent” - Bill Brownstein, Montreal Gazette
Eric Andrews is a clean cut, well bred young man who’s charm is an instant killer. Originally from Brampton Ontario, Eric is a bit shy, a bit awkward, and a whole lot of funny. He brings a different perspective to what most people might see as just an ordinary thing. In his career so far doing comedy he’s already been featured on The Comedy Network, SiriusXM, MuchMusic, Rogers TV and is a series regular on Discovery Channel’s Prank Science.
Eric has earned himself top spots in three national comedy competitions so far. He was one of the Top 8 finalists in the “GreatCanadian Laugh Off.” He was a Canadian Comedy Award Winner for “Best Stand Up Newcomer”and to finish it all off he was crowned SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s “Canada’s Next Top Comic” This kid has the stuff to become one of the greats.
Adrian Cronk’s universal, electric brand of comedy is not to be missed!
His experiences (cultivated everywhere from Canada to the Carolinas)
have led to a razor-sharp sense of humor that is unique and hilarious.
Adrian has opened for Comedy Greats like Russell Peters, Jon Dore and Tom Green and he has been featured at the world-famous Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. He has also been seen and heard around the world in tapings for the Halifax Comedy Festival on CBC, and Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud network. Adrian was chosen to be Yuk Yuk’s Ottawa’s first House Emcee in thirty years.
Whether in a comedy club, a college campus or in front of thousands in an area, Adrian has made audiences laugh nationwide. He needs to be seen to be believed!
