Tickets can be purchased online until 6:00PM the night of the show or on-site at the Grandstand Guest Services desk until 9:00PM or the Box Office one hour before the show. You must be 19+ to attend the show.

Headliner

Mike Wilmot

 

Mike Wilmot is a Canadian stand-up comedian. In 2005 he won two Canadian Comedy Awards for best male stand-up and best actor for his work in It’s All Gone Pete Tong.

Wilmot has also appeared on Corner Gas, The Jon Dore Television Show, The Foundation, British TV shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and alongside American comedian Rich Hall in BBC television series Rich Hall’s Fishing Show and Rich Hall’s Cattle Drive. He was the host of the Paramount comedy series Comedy Blue. He has also appeared on the Australian TV show Good News Week (Network 10) as a guest panelist and visits Australia annually to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.


Middle

Laurie Elliott 

 

Laurie Elliott is a stand-up comic, actor and television writer.  She is a winner of the Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award and is a four-time winner of Best Female Stand Up at The Canadian Comedy Awards.  

Her stand-up credits include the Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival (where she was chosen by the late, great Joan Rivers to perform on her final Gala show), the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Comedy Factory in Rotterdam, Raw Comedy Club in Stockholm, the SheDot Comedy Festival in Toronto, and a gala run at the Cape Town International Comedy Festival in South Africa.  

She has had recurring roles/appearances on MuchMusic’s Video on Trial, CBC’s The Red Green Show (she married Harold!), The Jon Dore Television Show, Match Game and The Debaters. Laurie’s voice can be heard on many animated series such as Total Drama Island, Scaredy Squirrel, and Camp Lakebottom. Laurie was also a regular on WWF star Chris Jericho’s award winning web series, But I’m Chris Jericho.

Writing credits include five seasons of the Total Drama Series, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Rocket Monkeys, Camp Lakebottom, Fugget About It, Showcase’s Almost Heroes, Disney’s My Babysitter’s a Vampire, Hulu’s original series Mother Up starring Eva Longoria. Laurie is currently co-show running a series for YTV called, The Three Amigonauts.

Laurie recently opened for the hilarious Arsenio Hall and he was a delight!

Chuck Byrn

 

Working professionally as a comedian since 1994 and as a national touring headliner since 1996, Chuck Byrn has the experience and knowledge to ensure your show or event is a success. Having performed in almost every conceivable circumstance, Chuck adjusts his performance to suit the situation. Be it a formal awards dinner, a casual staff party or a large boisterous group of clients in from out of town… Chuck will put on a show suitable to the situation. His hard work has culminated in him receiving a Best Male Stand-Up nomination at the the 2010 Canadian Comedy Awards.
Chuck is available for: corporate parties, event hosting, golf tournaments, fundraisers, colleges, theater shows, private events, keynote speaking…. custom material is also available for your event (notice is appreciated, but not always required).
