I am the Mid-day host at Classic Rock Free 98.1. I am also the Music Director and Assistant Program Director for the station. I love to run, but have to admit I haven’t been out as much as I would have liked to this summer, so a 3k is a perfect fit! I’m looking forward to it. Let’s do this ladies!!

Why do you run?
I love to unwind at the end of the day, it gives me time to think and it’s great exercise.
How did you get into running?
I play soccer and found that if I jogged during the week my endurance was better.

Usually a glass of water. Sometimes a cookie as I tell myself I’m still burning those calories…right!

Describe your funniest running/fitness moment:
I was running my first 10k and was starting to fade about 7k in. Then a 70-something War Vet came and started chatting beside me. I guess it’s not a funny moment, but I realized what he’d been through and it helped me with my last three km. I wasn’t about to let him beat me too…but he did have some great stories to tell.
