Zendaya Standardbreds is proud to offer three yearling fillies for this year’s Fall sales, in Canada, with one going to the Atlantic Classic Yearling sale, in Prince Edward Island, while the other two will make their way to the London Classic Yearling Sale in Ontario.

“We were advised, by friends in Ontario, to send our two Ontario-sired yearlings to the London sale because of their qualities, valuable pedigrees and strong sire history in Ontario,” mention P.E.I. breeders Alan and Juanita MacLeod. ”We feel they’ll be an asset to the Ontario racing circuit.”

1. ZENDAYAS BEACHGIRL (Hip 40 LCYS) is a Sunshine Beach sister to Narcian Jewel (p1:51.3, $462,821), Metallica (p1:52h, $141,325) and Darth Fader (p1:51.4f, $127,470. Her dam Fade To Black (Northern Luck) from 7 starters has produced 7 winners.

2. ZENDAYAS MS WICKED (Hip 111 LCYS) is a Mcwicked first foal of Nobodys Shadow (Shadow Play). Her dam is a sister to Midnight Matt (p1:52h, $205.437), Burkes Bandit (p1:53.1f, $171, 526) and Shadownthetwilight (p1:55.1f, $110,126).

All three fillies have been raised ‘hands-on’ daily say the MacLeod’s. “They’ve always been brought in at night… We’ve handled their feet and groomed them daily and have always believed in that daily contact - to make the transition from their home - to the track - both easy for them and their new owners. All three fillies are quite smart, easy to handle and they love people and we really enjoy watching them run in the fields - they’re all very happy!”

“A kiss on the nose first thing in the morning before going to the pasture and then again, before bed time every night, tells them tomorrow will be a new day. We could talk about them for hours, but we’re trying to keep the words to a minimum for you all. We come from 27 years of pedigree breeding and showing dogs and now we’re into the horses and loving it. Can you tell we love animals…”

The London Classic Yearling Sale (LCYS) will be held at the Western Fair District Agriplex on October 18th and 19th. For all the latest info - including the online catalog and individual yearling videos - visit www.westernfairdistrict.com/lcys.
