COVID-19 Update: The Market Will Remain Open Saturdays
The Market at Western Fair District and its local food vendors feel it is important for everyone to continue to have access to food from trusted sources and to support small local businesses deemed essential in these difficult times.
The Market at Western Fair District will remain open on Saturdays, regular hours from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., however it will be CLOSED on Sunday until further notice.
Harvest Bucks which are distributed as part of local community food programs that support healthy eating continue to be accepted at the Market for fresh fruits & vegetables during this time.
If you choose to visit the Market on Saturdays for your shopping needs, please note that you will only see food- related vendors operating on the first floor, our second floor is closed to the public at this time.
We ask our customers to use common sense when practicing social distancing and interaction with vendors at the Market. Please maintain the recommended distance from other customers and vendors, ask your market vendor to pick and bag your selections rather than touching products yourself and please use hand washing and sanitizing areas throughout the Market. Visitors will continue to be screened and have their temperature taken prior to entering the Market, and we urge customers to come by themselves if possible, rather than shopping as a group or family.
We continue to monitor the situation closely and remind you to follow the COVID-19 precautionary guidelines being recommended by the various Canadian Health Authorities, including the local health unit (Middlesex London Health Unit), Ontario Health, and the Public Health Agency of Canada.
