Mike Wilmot is a Canadian stand-up comedian. In 2005 he won two Canadian Comedy Awards for best male stand-up and best actor for his work in It’s All Gone Pete Tong.
Wilmot has also appeared on Corner Gas, The Jon Dore Television Show, The Foundation, British TV shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and alongside American comedian Rich Hall in BBC television series Rich Hall’s Fishing Show and Rich Hall’s Cattle Drive. He was the host of the Paramount comedy series Comedy Blue. He has also appeared on the Australian TV show Good News Week (Network 10) as a guest panelist and visits Australia annually to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Laurie Elliott is a stand-up comic, actor and television writer. She is a winner of the Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award and is a four-time winner of Best Female Stand Up at The Canadian Comedy Awards.
Her stand-up credits include the Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival (where she was chosen by the late, great Joan Rivers to perform on her final Gala show), the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Comedy Factory in Rotterdam, Raw Comedy Club in Stockholm, the SheDot Comedy Festival in Toronto, and a gala run at the Cape Town International Comedy Festival in South Africa.
She has had recurring roles/appearances on MuchMusic’s Video on Trial, CBC’s The Red Green Show (she married Harold!), The Jon Dore Television Show, Match Game and The Debaters. Laurie’s voice can be heard on many animated series such as Total Drama Island, Scaredy Squirrel, and Camp Lakebottom. Laurie was also a regular on WWF star Chris Jericho’s award winning web series, But I’m Chris Jericho.
Writing credits include five seasons of the Total Drama Series, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Rocket Monkeys, Camp Lakebottom, Fugget About It, Showcase’s Almost Heroes, Disney’s My Babysitter’s a Vampire, Hulu’s original series Mother Up starring Eva Longoria. Laurie is currently co-show running a series for YTV called, The Three Amigonauts.
Laurie recently opened for the hilarious Arsenio Hall and he was a delight!
Martha Chaves is a busy comic. Her infectious, candid style, her captivating stage presence, and her gift to relate to a wide range of audiences grant her numerous presentations at clubs, colleges, fundraisers, corporate functions and comedy festivals.
Martha is a veteran of multiple Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival, and of the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. She has also appeared in the Halifax, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Boston Comedy Festivals, and in the “Marshalls’ Women of Comedy,” in NYC. In Spanish, she’s performed in the Festival Del Humor de Caracol, in Bogotá, Colombia. Her versatile material mixed with her fluency in 4 languages make her an asset to perform for an array of fascinating audiences. For example, the Canadian Peacekeeping Troops (in Alert, Egypt, Israel, and Afghanistan) and The Nobel Women’s Initiative, a delegation of women led by Nobel Peace Prize winners (in Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala).
In 2015, Martha warmed up 43,000 people for the 2015 Pan Am Games - Opening Ceremony and in 2016, she hosted the ACTRA Awards, in Toronto. Her TV credits include two national comedy specials: COMICS! on CBC, and Something About Martha on CTV and The Comedy Network, plus her TV appearances on Just for Laughs, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, to mention a few. Martha is a regular on CBC Radio’s “Laugh Out Loud,”, “The Debaters,” and “Because News.”
