We’ve taken the pledge to help 519Pursuit collect 519 pairs of white socks. Although it is not often thought about, socks are one of the most commonly asked-for items in shelters. If you’re coming to the club before November 15th, please bring a pair of white socks to donate. Thank you for your support!

THIS WEEK’S COMEDIANS

Headliner

Andrew Barr

Andrew Barr is an old man trapped in a tiny young man’s body. A unique combination of grumpy and silly, he has delighted audiences nation-wide. Never one to shy away from a topic, Barrman has a knack for breaking down divisive issues in a way that makes a whole room laugh. These skills have earned him featured performances on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud, SiriusXM, The Icebreakers Comedy Festival, the YYC Comedy Festival, Montreal Sketchfest, and iChannel’s No Kidding. His debut EP “Rent Money”, produced by Comedy Records was released in 2018.

Middle

Courtney Gilmour

A killer combination of sharp writing and warm likability has made Courtney Gilmour one of Toronto’s fastest rising talents. She delivered a breakout performance at the 2017 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal by winning the Homegrown Comics Competition and filming a set for Kevin Hart’s new LOL Network. Courtney was one of the 42 at Toronto’s acclaimed JFL42 fest and is set to return to Just For Laughs in 2018 for a taping on The Comedy Network. Courtney has also opened for a number of prominent headlining acts including Todd Glass, Aparna Nancherla, Chris Gethard, and SNL’s Sasheer Zamata. She has previously made appearances at the All Jane Comedy Festival in Portland, NXNE, and SiriusXM’s Top Comic.

Emcee

Rob Bebenek

One of the fastest rising comics in the country, Bebenek has smashed audiences from coast to coast. His sharp wit and observational rants have left audiences in stitches. Rob has received major praises from peers, critics and most of all the crowds, for the way he rips apart day to day life and calls out idiocy in the world as he’s sees it. As a result he is quickly becoming a club favourite.

Originally from Kitchener, Ontario he now makes his home in Toronto as he hones his skills as a comedian, writer and actor. He was a finalist in SiriusXM Canada’s Next Top Comic competition in 2013. He’s appeared on MTV, SiriusXM radio and CBC’s Laugh Out Loud. He’s performed at the Halifax Comedy Festival, Hubcap Comedy Festival, Cottage Country Comedy Festival, the NXNE Festival and the Waterloo Comedy Festival, as well as opening for Charlie Murphy, Steve-O, Gerry Dee, Tim Meadows and more!
