Western Fair District is delighted to announce their new partnership with Growing Chefs! Ontario. By means of a $30,000.00 investment, Growing Chefs! Ontario’s school-based programming will be delivered as Western Fair District Presents: The School Food Education Project. London, Ontario Gates open this afternoon for the 141st edition of the annual Western Fair. Opening weekend, presented by Nestlé, offers patrons three days of entertainment, rides, games, Fair food and fun. Guests will experience adventure and thrill with a stop at Adrenaline Alley, presented by OLG. Watch as the Nerveless Nocks perform their spectacular aerial stunts. Warriors’ Day will be held on Saturday, September 10, to celebrate and commemorate the long and strong connection between the Western Fair, our serving military and the many sacrifices and contributions of war veterans. After 35 years the Rise2Fame youth talent competition is still going strong. The annual event takes place across Southwestern Ontario in conjunction with the Western Fair District and local fairs and events. Rise2Fame gives local youth the opportunity to showcase their diverse talents on different stages. From dancing to singing and instrumentals all competitors are given a platform to perform and the chance to win up to $1,500.00.
