A one-of-a-kind comedy and visual spectacle and Star of America's Got Talent, Charles Peachock will energize any audience.
What is a wetland?
A swamp, bog, or marsh? What animals depend on wetlands? All will be answered as guests are introduced to the world of wetland environments. Informative signage and live animal habitats make this an interactive exhibit that is truly engaging for young and old, brought to you by Little Rays Reptile Zoo.
Canada's first mobile makerspace and technology education classroom. Anyone who loves to build, create, or tinker is a maker. We encourage you to become a Maker at the fair. Visit the Makerbus in the Community Showcase Pavilion and let your imagination run wild.
Nothing says ‘fair’ better than a Community Showcase Building full of art and items created by London and area residents. Displays of quilts, paintings, photography, crafts and more. Make sure you come to see all of the exhibits, including your own!
THE FLYING WALLENDAS
Ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages, look up! It’s the Flying Wallendas, one of the World's Greatest Circus Families performing daily high-wire acts that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
Who doesn’t love a hug or a high five from their favourite animated character? The fair welcomes Dora the Explorer and My Little Pony to the fair as well as the opportunity to meet and greet Diego, Equestria Girls and Doh-Doh. Check out highly engaging Nerf, Play-Doh and Simon Swipe activities also.
LITTLE TRACKS PETTING ZOO
Big kids or small kids, everyone loves to visit the petting zoo. This year you can enjoy the company of goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, rabbits, alpaca, miniature donkey and pony, Emu, Mini Zebu Cattle, peacocks, pheasants and Walter the wallaby.
TERRANCE THE HYPNOTIST
Three words best describe Terrance B’s performances – fun, fun, fun! His mind-blowing stage shows are big on amazement, big on participation and big on laughter.
SENIORS GOT TALENT
Calling all talented senior citizens. Singers, dancers, jokers and jugglers, it’s your time to shine. Take a break from retirement and perform at the Western Fair. Great fun and prizes!
KID PEDAL TRACTOR RACES
Kids have all the fun at the fair! Ride a modified mini tractor and pedal hard and fast down a straight track while our energetic commentator gets peddlers and the crowd fired up! The longest pulls wins. Tons of fun!
FIDDLE N' STEP DANCING
Great musical entertainment for all ages! The fair continues the tradition of old time Canadian fiddling and step dancing in the park.
RISE 2 FAME
SING, DANCE, PLAY - Rise 2 Fame Youth Talent Search continues to be an integral part of the annual Fair. This year’s multi-gifted line-up will be back on the Anne Eadie Stage.
Do you SING, DANCE or PLAY and are between the ages of 6 and 21 then the Rise 2 Fame Youth Talent Search is looking for you.
Every year the Western Fair District organizes in conjunction with fairs and festivals across South Western Ontario a Youth Talent Search to give the Youth in our communities a chance to perform in front of a live audience. There are16 Preliminary contests across Southwestern Ontario for you to choose from. Preliminaries are held all summer in communities from Teeswater to Essex. The winners of those regional competitions will travel to London, compete in the finals during our 10 day fair.
The Rise 2 Fame competition continues to be an integral part of the Fair. This year’s multi-gifted line-up will be back on the Anne Eadie Stage, with an array of young people ages 6 to 21 will include musicians, dancers, singers and entertainers.
