With spring on the horizon and the golf season fast approaching the Western Fair District welcomes back the London Golf Show, March 12-13th, 2016. As the largest golf show and sale in Southwestern Ontario, golf enthusiasts will have the opportunity to shop, learn and perfect their swing. Due to the impending winter storm which is forecasted to hit Southwestern Ontario throughout Tuesday afternoon and evening, officials at The Raceway at Western Fair District have cancelled Tuesday night’s live card of racing.  Environment Canada has issued both a snowfall and winter storm warning for the area which calls for freezing rain, heavy snow and blowing snow for the area with accumulations of up to 25 cm by Wednesday morning. In its 78th year the London Farm Show once again welcomes the agricultural industry to the Western Fair District. The Raceway at Western Fair District has cancelled training at the track on Wednesday morning due to the inclement weather that is being forecasted for the London area. Live racing is scheduled for Wednesday night at 6:15 p.m. Track officials will monitor weather conditions and forecasts on Wednesday morning and will advise on the status of the Wednesday night program at that time.
