TRIALTO

Host Bio

Alex Gaunt has been Trialto’s Ontario Market Manager for over five years, overseeing sales and ensuring profitability in the Ontario market. Alex’s passion for wine started at an early age when wine was part of everyday family life. During his studies for Hotel Management and Business, Alex took the opportunity to complete the WSET Higher Certificate and once he had completed a spell owning his own restaurant, a career in the wine industry was the natural evolution. His greatest wine experience was attending a 20 year vertical tasting of Chateau Kirwan in 1999 while attending Vinexpo in Bordeaux, and his favourite restaurant is located back in his native England at London’s Bombay Bicycle Club.
An avid traveler Alex enjoys playing golf with his son Eamonn, cycling, skiing with his children Ally & Eamonn, swimming but, most importantly, spending time with his kids.
