It’s the show to attend this spring for an all-encompassing, multi-discipline, all-breed and all-level experience. SEE AL DUNNING IN ACTION!
All Equine is extremely pleased to add Al Dunning to this year’s roster. Al has owned and operated Almosta Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona since 1970. His expertise in all facets of equestrian events has elevated him to great success and he and his students have won 40 World and Reserve World titles in AQHA, NRHA, NRCHA, NCHA. In addition, Al conducts clinics worldwide, manages Ad Tack, operated Dunning Consulting LLC, and has recently developed Team Ad International, an online training program. Catch Al’s Reining Instruction, in the Agriplex Arena, all three days.
3 DAY TRAINER’S CHALLENGE – IS BACK!
3 Trainers | 3 Horses | 3 Judges
This unique experience showcases three of Canada’s top trainers as they put their skills to work, demonstrating their abilities and techniques on how to train an un-broke horse. The Trainer’s Challenge will take place in the demonstration ring and competitors will have three days to achieve success, critiqued by three judges, using their different training skills.
Kade Mills – 2014 Returning Champion!
Horse training has always been a very important part of Kade’s life. He began home schooling when he was fifteen to train full time with his dad, five time Mane Event Trainers Challenge Winner, Doug Mills. Since then Kade has trained on his own all over Canada, the US and Europe. Kade has started colts for renowned Quarter Horse breeders in both Canada and the US, one of which was Carol Rose Quarter Horses of Gainesville, TX. He was also a four time National High School Rodeo Finals qualifier in both Team Roping and Calf Roping. Kade credits his father’s “Training thru Trust” program that his family and he practice. He is very blessed to spend every day connecting equine with people, helping riders meet their goals.
Scott Carmichael resides in Welland, Ontario where he owns and operates Scott Carmichael Quarter Horses. The training operation established in 2004, specializes in colt starting and the preparation of AQHA show horses for the all-around events. Scott has worked on large horse operations in the US and Australia before starting his own business. Scott is member of AQHA Professional Horseman and a multi carded horse show judge. Scott also conducts clinics every year across Ontario. This will be the first time for Scott to compete in a Trainers Challenge, he will bring with him the experience of starting over 500 young horses.
Cain is a veteran horse trainer and clinician of 25 years, having taught approximately 200 clinics on subjects such as colt starting, horsemanship, cutting, ranch roping and cowboy mounted shooting. Cain resides near Kendal SK, where he runs a full-time training and boarding facility with his wife, Roberta and their two daughters Cheyenne and Jaelynn. He has coached several non-pros, youth and amateur riders to multiple provincial and national titles in various disciplines. Cain’s horsemanship skills have been showcased as the feature clinician at prestigious events such as Canadian Western Agribition, Farmfair International, and the World’s Largest County Fair in Clay County, Iowa. What he consistently brings to the plate is his patience, understanding and connection with the horse – and the crowd. Cain isn’t there just for the horse, he strongly believes in education and supporting people through their horse journey.
DRESSAGE – CECILE VON MARTELS
Cecile has been competing at an international dressage level since 2000. First starting at FEI Ponies, then moving up to FEI Juniors then onto FEI young riders. She made the young rider team in 2006 and 2007 and represented Canada in Virginia in 2007. She is currently competing her own mare, Bivera in national competitions at level 4.
INTERNATIONALLY SANCTIONED EXTREME COWBOY RACE!
A celebration of Horsemanship and Competitive Speed, Extreme Cowboy Racing is the “fastest growing equine sport” in North America. Entertain yourself Friday and Saturday evenings at the show watching competitors and their horses take to a challenging course of ranch and trail-type obstacles. Competitors are judged on their command of each element, their overall horsemanship and extreme speed around the Agriplex! All Equine will feature an Extreme Cowboy Race sanctioned by both the Extreme Cowboy Association (EXCA) and Ontario Xtreme Cowboy Association (OXC), the original and only recognized association for the sport of Extreme Cowboy Racing. The Extreme Cowboy Race™ was originated by the first “Original Extreme Cowboy”, Craig Cameron.
