Fanshawe and Western Fair District announce partnership for Agri-Business Program

London, Ontario - June 8th, 2017: Western Fair District and Fanshawe College announced that Western Fair District will be hosting Fanshawe’s Agri-Business program commencing this September 2017. The program, which will take place onsite at Western Fair District, is a graduate certificate program that teaches students to manage every step of the supply chain from farm to table and everything in between. 

As an agricultural society, Western Fair District is very proud to support the development and education of tomorrow’s agri-business leaders. As host to many agricultural shows, events and initiatives the program is a perfect complement to the District’s existing agricultural initiatives. Being aligned with such a dynamic and complex field that continues to evolve and respond to new technological advances, while remaining sustainable globally, bolsters the District’s efforts to support the on-going development of the agricultural industry.

Western Fair District will support Fanshawe’s programming with the facilities to develop students who will soon be future leaders in the local and regional agri-business sector.

Working with Fanshawe, Western Fair District continues their evolution alongside the agricultural industry and our customers as we bridge the gap between our rural and urban communities.
