The Western Fair has opened its gates for the final weekend of the annual event. Despite the rain there is plenty to do and see around the Fair.
Most attractions, entertainment, rides, games and competitions will continue with minor schedule and location adjustments.
Down on the Farm in the Metroland Media Agriplex is still in full swing with the Western Horse Show and the Clydesdale Hitch and parade later this afternoon as well as animal displays, milking demonstrations, our agricultural timeline and more!
In the Progress Building guests can be awed by Terrance B’s incredible hypnosis act, families and children can watch as the pirates of Imagination Park perform ‘A Pirate’s Adventure’ or take in the Creative Arts Competition entries throughout the building.
Free family fun in Imagination Park will continue with our free train rides and stage shows including Doo Doo the Clown, Mystic Drumz and the Balloon Tree.
Feast on Fair food from one of our many vendors serving up everything from deep fried bacon wrapped twinkies and Mexican street corn to fair favourites of elephant ears, cotton candy and candy apples!
For the safety of our guests some rides, activities and entertainment may be postponed until the rain clears. Updates will be posted on Western Fair District website and social media outlets.
