Farm Show Displays Latest In Agricultural Technology

Among approximately 330 booths, on over 250,000 square feet of exhibit space, throughout five buildings, visitors to the 2012 Farm Show, presented by Farm Credit Canada, can expect to see a large number of new products.
 
“In some cases, products are new items or equipment to our show. In other cases, they are new product lines being introduced for the first time,” says Farm Show Manager, Cheron Chamberlain.

A highlight among the new products at the 2012 Farm Show will be the 100 year anniversary of Dekalb, a major sponsor of the event who is providing $2,500 worth of Genuity® SmartStax® RIB Complete™ seed to the winner of an e-survey draw at the show. This prize is right in time for 2013 planting season.
 
The diversity of booths and displays at the show include: computer systems, grain handling, seeding equipment, and all types of farm equipment.  “Whether the products and services presented are new to the show or the visitor is new to the event itself, the FARM SHOW is about introducing producers to product lines” said Heather Blackwell, Director of Corporate Affairs.
 
The Western Fair District, home of the Farm Show for the last 74 years, is a great place to take a few extra hours while attending the event and enjoy one of the District’s many entertainment options.  A highlight of this year’s event is the NEW Yuk Yuk’s club that will feature, CHRIS QUIGLEY, TED MORRIS and PAUL SMITH as MC for one evening only.
