We are currently seeking a Money Room Representative to join our team!

Money Room Representative report directly to the Money Room supervisor.  The Money Room Staff performs duties relating to cash handling, counting and recording of Western Fair District, The Raceway Corporation and Sports Centre deposits.

  • Being a brand advocate for the District

  • Performing a variety of duties relating to the control and distribution of money for different business units of the Western Fair District, the Raceway Corporation, Sports Centre, various Show Events and Annual Fair.

  • Counting, reconciling and processing all cash through the money room counting process. 

  • Preparing cash floats with cash in accordance with company policies and procedures

  • Providing assistance as required for balancing functions.

  • Completing applicable documentation accurately and according to corporate policies and procedures as well as review for accuracy and proper completion of all documentation completed by others.

  • Preparing computerized spreadsheets daily to record all money-handling transactions.

  • Preparing daily deposits.

  • Balancing all floats including cash on hand on a daily basis. 

  • Complying with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Western Fair Association (District) Health and Safety Policy and Awareness Program, all Western Fair Association (District) policies and procedures, including any other applicable legislation.

  • Other related duties as required or assigned.

  • High School Diploma.

  • Exceptional Customer Service skills.

  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Must possess previous cashier or cash handling experience.

  • Proficient in the use of a computer and Microsoft applications.

  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.

  • High level of personal integrity.

  • Strong work ethic.


Working Conditions
  • Ability to work and evening shifts including weekends and holidays.
