London, Ontario, January 7, 2015: The annual Western Fair has received recognition in two award categories: Agriculture & Communications from the International Association of Fairs and Expositions (IAFE) headquartered in Springfield, Mo.
There are multiple award categories, each divided into 5 divisions by attendance, that a Fair or Expo can enter. The entries were evaluated and judged by a team of industry leaders at the 124th Annual IAFE Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada. These individuals are selected from the membership of the IAFE, which has over 1,200 members from around the globe.
Western Fair received Awards in the following categories:
Agricultural Award of Excellence for the Western Fair’s program featuring “Consumer Awareness in the Agriculture Environment” for the Fair’s Live Birthing Display. This award sponsored by John Deere, who is an avid supporter of the Fair and Expo Industry around the world.
Award of Distinction for Communications in the following categories: 1st Place for Radio and Promotional Poster. The purpose of this competition is to improve the advertising and publicity programs of fairs and to provide recognition for those fairs doing an outstanding job. This award sponsored by K&K Insurance, headquartered in Indiana.
The Western Fair takes great pride in knowing that their event has been selected for these prestigious honors.
